What Are Subscriptions

The new Pet Drugs Online subscription service allows you to order your favourite products quickly and easily in just one order! 

Our commitment-free subscriptions allow you full flexibility on when and how often you receive the products your pet needs while saving you time on ordering. You can skip, pause, or cancel your subscription anytime, and we’re always on hand to help you with any problems you might have. 

The Pet Drugs Online subscription service takes the time out of constant ordering and offers you a quick, easy and convenient way to order your pet’s essentials, leaving you with more time to love them well.

How to Activate a Subscription

Activating your Pet Drugs Online subscription couldn’t be simpler. All you need to do is:

  1. Find the product you’d like a subscription for. 
  2. Choose the subscription option on the product page.
  3. Choose the frequency of your subscription (Options range from once a week to every six months).
  4. Add the product to your basket.
  5. Complete your checkout and pay. 

Once this is complete, your first order will be placed, your new subscription will be activated, and you will receive an email with all the necessary information and your order confirmation email. 

How to Modify Your Subscription

Once your subscription is activated, you can find all the details of your Subscription(s) under My Account with the rest of your details. 

By clicking on the My Subscriptions tab, you can:

  • View your active subscriptions (including subscription number, subscription start date, subscription frequency, amount of orders to date)
  • Edit your active subscription (such as payment details, delivery details, or order frequency)
  • View your past orders and order history
  • Pause, Skip or Cancel your subscription

To make any changes to your subscription, simply: 

  1. Click on the tab with the details you’d like to change (eg. delivery, payment or quantity) 
  2. Click the Modify button in the top right corner
  3. Make the changes you want 
  4. Click the Apply Changes button

And that’s it! Once you make changes to your account, you’ll receive an email to confirm the changes have been made. You can see all the changes you’ve made to your subscription in the History tab. 

Please note, any changes you make to your subscription are effective immediately. For example, if you change the frequency of your orders from 4 weeks to 6 weeks, your next order will be placed in six weeks time from the date of the change.

Frequently Asked Questions

What Happens If My Subscription Product Is Out of Stock?

If your chosen subscription product is out of stock, then your order will fail to go through. We will try and process your order 3 more times after the first failure (once a day) in case the item has returned in stock. 

If this fails, your subscription will be suspended, and we will email you details on what to do next. 

What Happens If My Subscription Product is Discontinued?

If your subscription product has been discontinued, then we will unfortunately not be able to process your order. In this instance, we will email you to inform you of the issue, and your subscription will be cancelled. 

Can I Place Subscription and Non-Subscription Orders at the Same Time?

Yes! You can still order other products in the same basket as your subscription items. 

This does not mean these products will be added to your subscription, but you will receive two separate confirmation emails — one to confirm your order and the second to confirm the activation of your subscription. 

Can I Cancel My Subscription?

Yes. If you change your mind and want to cancel your subscription, go to My Account and view your subscriptions under the My Subscriptions tab. 

Here, you can view your current subscriptions. Simply click the Cancel button, and you’ll be able to cancel your repeat order. 

Cancellations must be made before your order has been dispatched.

What If I Have Problems With My Subscription?

Why have I receieved an email about 3D Secure authentication?

You've received an email about 3D Secure authentication as it's essential for verifying your identity and securing your online subscription order. It's a secure link contained in the email that will redirect you to your bank to authenticate your payment.

This step safeguards against unauthorised card use and enables us to process your order. 

What is 3D Secure authentication?

3D Secure is an additional security layer for online credit and debit card transactions. It's designed to ensure that you're the only person who can use your card online.

You'll be directed to your bank's website to authenticate your payment.

Why do I need to authenticate my payment for my subscription order?

3D Secure authentication is required by your bank to enhance transaction security and prevent unauthorised card use.

Your bank decides when this step is needed based on their security criteria.

How do I complete the 3D Secure authentication process?

Click on the authentication link in the email sent by contact@petdrugsonline.co.uk, which will redirect you to your bank’s verification page.

There, you'll be prompted to complete an authentication step on your device. Once you enter this information, your payment will be authenticated.

Is the link in the email safe to click?

Yes, the link in our email sent by contact@petdrugsonline.co.uk is secure and will direct you to your bank's official website for authentication.

You will not be asked to enter your card details again, and we will never ask you to enter your card details via email.

We prioritise your security and privacy; if you are unsure of the authenticity of an email, please contact a member of our customer service team. 

What happens if I don't complete the 3D Secure authentication?

If the 3D Secure authentication is not completed, we won't be able to process your order. The link in the email is valid for 24 hours. It's essential to authenticate your payment to ensure the security of your transaction and proceed with your subscription order.

What should I do if I encounter problems during the authentication process?

Please contact your bank for assistance if you face any issues or errors during the 3D Secure process. They can help resolve any problems related to the authentication.

How will I know once my payment has been successfully verified?

After completing the 3D Secure authentication on your bank's website, you'll receive a confirmation of successful payment verification. We'll also notify you when we start processing your order.
