Get Your Pet’s Prescription Medication In 3 Easy Steps

1

Visit your vets for a consultation and ask them to write a prescription.

How to get a prescription from your vet

If your vet determines that your pet needs prescription medications, you can ask them for a written prescription so you can buy the drugs online – rather than directly from the surgery. They can charge a fee for writing a prescription, but it should not be excessive (most vets charge between £15 -£17).

You can even download a blank prescription form to take with you – just in case!

Once you have a prescription from your vet, place the medication you need in your basket and checkout. You will then be asked to upload a photo or scan of the prescription during the checkout process. It is that simple.

Order the medication and upload
the prescription when you checkout.

To email or post your prescription

When you have ordered online, we can also accept prescriptions sent by email or post:

Email
Attach a photo or scan of your prescription and email info@petprescription.co.ukPlease be sure to put your order number in the subject line, as this helps us tie everything together and means we can process your order as quickly as possible.

Post
As we wait on the post to arrive, this means it will take a little longer to process your order. But some prescriptions MUST be sent by post – so have a quick check to see before ordering. If you do send by post, write your order number on the prescription itself (post-Its or paperclips can easily get separated), then mail it to:

Pet Prescription
PO BOX 171,
Bristol,
BS31 9EG

Where possible, rather than post the prescription we’d recommend you upload it during the checkout process.

We check your vet's prescription
and pop it in the post - it's as easy as that!
