Scalibor Collars are used to control the infestations of ticks, control of blood sucking caused by sand flies and for an anti-feeding effect on adult mosquitoes.
The collars are supplied in two sizes: Small-medium (48cm) or large (65cm). You will need to accurately measure your dog’s neck before purchasing the collar to ensure an accurate fit.
The collar is white and odourless and provides up to 6 months protection from ticks. The collar should be applied at least 10-14 days before exposure to fleas and ticks.
Directions for use: Fit Collar to your pet’s neck and trim off any excess - leave a maximum of 2 inches beyond the buckle. To be used on dogs only. The active ingredient is deltamethrin which is harmful to cats and aquatics (especially fish).
Scalibor Collars are extremely effective when travelling abroad, and offer around 5-6 months of protection.
Do not use the collars on cats or puppies less than 7 weeks old. For the first 5 days of wearing, dogs should be prevented from swimming. The collar should be removed for subsequent bathing. Scalibor Collars should not be used in conjunction with other products containing organophosphate.
