Vetmedin 1.25mg Flavoured Tablets for Dogs are used to treat dogs suffering from canine congestive heart failure caused by an enlarged heart or mitral and/or tricuspid valve insufficiency. Vetmedin 1.25mg tablets help to stimulate the heart muscle and can reduce the progression of damage to the heart.
The small brown Vetmedin 1.25mg tablets contain 1.25mg of the active ingredient Pimobendan and are scored to help you split the Vetmedin tablets should the dosage require it.
Each Vetmedin 1.25mg tablet is meat flavoured to help enhance the palatability of the medication.
Vetmedin is also available as a 5mg capsule or 5mg and 10mg chewable tablets to accommodate different sizes and breeds of dog.
