Bimectin is indicated for the treatment of parasitic infestations in horses due to; large strongyles, small strongyles, lungworms, pinworms, ascarids, hairworms, large-mouth stomach worms, neck threadworms, intestinal threadworms and stomach bots. This Bimectin syringe is filled with a yellow, gel like paste containing Ivermectin 1.87%. This syringe has a special lock mechanism allowing you to set it at just the right dosiage for your animal stopping you from accidentally giving to much.
Dosage & Administration
Each Bimectin syringe contains enough paste to dose a 600kg horse. It is important you have an accurate bodyweight prior to dosing to ensure you give the correct amount.
Bimectin is safe for use in horses, foals, ponies and mares and can also be used safely within pregnant mares at any stage of the pregnancy and the fertility of treated stallions is not affected.
This product has been specially formulated for horses and is best not used in dogs and cats due to the concentration of ivermectin in this product. Ensure any spilled paste or used syringes are properly cleaned and disposed of.
Dogs and cats may be adversely affected if they are allowed to ingest spilled paste. Do not eat, drink or smoke while handling the product. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. If accidental skin contact occurs, wash the affected area immediately with soap and water. If accidental eye exposure occurs, flush the eyes immediately with water and, if necessary, get medical attention.
Wash hands after use.
Bimectin is extremely dangerous to fish and aquatic life.Do not contaminate surface waters or ditches with product or used containers.
