Incurin 1mg tablets for dogs are used in the treatment of hormone dependent urinary incontinence in spayed/neutered bitches.
Incurin 1mg tablets contain 1mg of the active ingredient Estriol, which is a short-acting natural oestrogen. Incurin 1mg tablets are small, round and scored in the middle to make splitting the tablets easier if giving a half dose.
Canine incontinence is a common condition, especially in older neutered females and Incurin has been proven as an effective treatment for the condition.
Special Instructions & Dose
At present, no relationship has been established between bodyweight and the final effective dose for Incurin. This means that the correct dose has to be determined for each dog on an individual basis by the veterinary surgeon.
Most dogs will start by taking one Incurin 1mg tablet daily, which is then slowly lowered to an effective dose. No more than two Incurin 1mg tablets should be given each day unless advised otherwise by your vet.
