Frontline Plus is a spot-on treatment for dogs and cats and is available in either packs of 3 or 6 pipettes.
Frontline Plus does not require a prescription.
Frontline Plus differs from regular Frontline as is contains a double action formula which includes: fipronil and (S)-methoprene. The Fipronil kills fleas and ticks which are on your pet and also stops flea eggs from hatching.
By preventing the flea eggs from hatching, a key part of the flea life cycle is broken, so the chance of re-infestation is cut down dramatically.
Frontline Plus will kill fleas within 24 hours of being applied and ticks within 48 hours.
Frontline Plus should be applied to the skin on the back of the neck (between the shoulder blades) once every 4 weeks / monthly.
Special Instructions & Dose
Pipettes are applied to the skin on the back of the neck, following the directions with packaging.
Frontline should be applied by parting the fur on the back of the neck and squeezing the contents of one pipette directly to the skin.
See manufacturer's instructions for full details of dosage and administration. Frontline flea treatment should not be used in rabbits.
If your dog is marginally over the maximum weight of one of the pack sizes (e.g. 10.5kg) it is recommended that you purchase the larger size (Medium dog instead of Small dog) to ensure your animal is fully protected.
Frontline is safe to use for puppies over 8 weeks of age and also for pregnant and lactating bitches.
Please read instructions carefully before administration. Do not handle/stroke your pet until product is dry. Wash hands after use. For external use only.
