Apoquel 3.6mg tablets are used in the treatment of allergic dermatitis (skin allergies) in dogs. Apoquel 3.6 is available to order as single tablet or packs of 100.
Apoquel 3.6mg tablets contain 3.6mg of the active ingredient oclacitinib, this ingredient helps to control allergic dermatitis and improve many of the signs associated with skin disease caused by fleas, contact, food allergies, and many other allergies. Symptoms which you may see in your dog include pruritis (itching), skin redness, skin irritation and hair loss.
Apoquel 3.6mg tablets help to reduce the itch-scratch cycle associated with skin disease; improving your dog’s skin and making them feel much more comfortable. Apoquel tablets start to work rapidly, so in many cases you should see an improvement in your dog’s clinical signs within 1-2 days. Apoquel may be used short-term (for 10-14 days) or long-term to control pruritis and itching.
Apoquel tablets are small and easy to give; they can be given with or without food. Apoquel is also available in 5.4mg and 16mg to suit different sizes and breeds of dog.
It is often recommended to use skin supplements and soothing shampoos alongside Apoquel. Products such as Coatex, Yumega, Viacutan and Sebocalm are often recommended by Veterinary Surgeons and Dermatologists. All of these products can be found in the Skin Supplement and Shampoo section of our website.
