Vivitonin 50mg tablets for dogs are designed to help treat Canine Cognitive Dysfunction Syndrome ('dementia') in older dogs, reducing the clinical signs of disorientation, confusion, and changes in sleep patterns. It can also improve willingness to exercise.
Vivitonin 50mg tablets contain the active ingredient Propentofylline which improves blood flow and oxygenation to the brain, increasing brain blood flow and improving brain function. It also reduces free radicals (which can otherwise cause damage to the brain, decreasing memory capacity), and improves blood flow to skeletal muscle, improving exercise tolerance.
Vivitonin can also cause bronchodilation, appropriate in some respiratory diseases to open up the airways.
The tablets are easily divisible for accurate dosing.
