ACP 10mg tablets for cats and dogs may be used for extreme cases of travel sickness or short-term management of anxiety, or sedation. (It is also used in veterinary practices as part of an anaesthetic premedication.)
Each pale yellow tablet contains 10mg acepromazine. Acepromazine acts in the brain to cause sedation, and usually begins to take effect after 10-15 minutes.
ACP 10mg tablets should be given exactly as directed by your vet.
ACP tablets are not recommended for use in pregnant animals or for long term use.
