Food sensitivity and intolerance are potentially serious problems that can result in irritated skin, coat and ear conditions or even gastrointestinal upset. Cats that have a food sensitivity or intolerance, also called adverse food reactions, typically experience an abnormal response to the protein in the food.
If your cat suffers from an adverse food reaction, it is even more important to feed the right food. Hill's nutritionists and veterinarians developed Prescription Diet z/d clinical nutrition especially formulated to reduce skin & digestive signs from food intolerances. In fact, z/d is clinically proven nutrition to help avoid adverse food reactions.
Please consult your vet for further information and guidance on what is best for your cat.

PLEASE NOTE: Some pet food tins are made from very thin metal, so we package them carefully for shipping. However the odd tin can get a little dented during transit. In the majority of cases this is simply cosmetic damage and the contents are unaffected. If you see a dented tin on delivery, just give it a quick once over and if you can't see any leaks the can's unpunctured - the food will be fine. If a can has leaked or is punctured get in touch via email at info@petprescription.co.uk
