Description

Equest Horse Wormer Gel is for the treatment and control of adult and larval stages of important internal parasites including encysted inhibited EL3 and developing intramucosal L4 larval stages of small redworms, arterial stages of large redworms and bots in horses and ponies. It is designed to be effective with a single dose.

Equest is designed to stay in the horses system for 2 weeks from treatment, which kills any cyathostomin larvae ingested by the horse during this period therefore preventing re-infection as well as pasture contamination. Equest also delays the re-appearance of strongyle eggs for 90 days, so four treatments a year will help to control parasites and bots.

Equest Syringe comes in the form of an easy to give 'melt in the mouth' gel and provides a full dose for horses weighing up to 575kg.

Use Equest Horse Wormer Gel alternately with Equest Pramox Oral Gel every quarter for a years complete worming programme. Thats just four single doses a year, one for each season! The Equest Horse Wormer Gel should be given in the Summer and Winter, and the Equest Pramox Gel should be used in the Spring and Autumn.

Equest is safe for use in pregnant mares and foals over 4 months of age.

Equest does NOT treat against Tapeworms.

What our vet says

"Worming your horse can be stressful for both of you if your horse is syringe adverse. But it's a vital job and someone's got to do it! A few tips - always know your horses weight, practice handling your horse's nose, have the correct dose ready to go, administer in an area which makes it easy to clean up any spills and wash your hands afterwards."
