A residual insecticide for the control of flies and lice on horses.
The application of the solution should commence at the onset of the fly season and be repeated monthly for general fly control and every two weeks for severe head and face fly control. Apply when lice are observed and repeat as necessary at a minimum of 14 days.
Important: In order to purchase this product you will be required to provide the following information about your animal(s):
(i) The weight of the heaviest animal to be treated
(ii) If the animal is a horse, to confirm if it has or has not been signed out of the food chain

Deosect must be diluted and mixed with water to make a solution just before use. A knapsack, hand sprayer or a sponge may be used to apply the solution. The solution should be used within 24 hours. Avoid spraying directly into animals eyes.
One litre of Deosect should be diluted with 50 litres of water. Alternatively, the following table may be used:
• Deosect 10ml diluted with 500ml Water
• Deosect 20ml diluted with 1 litre Water
• Deosect 100ml diluted with 5 litres Water
• Deosect 200ml diluted with 10 litres Water
A medium fine spray is advisable to avoid fogging of the diluted Deosect Spray. Careful attention must be paid to total animal coverage, especially the face, legs, back and hind quarters. The following amounts should be used:
Adult horses:
500 ml of diluted solution per animal.
Ponies:
125 ml of diluted solution per animal.
Fly Control:
