Dechra SPECIFIC® CDD-HY Allergen Management Dry Dog Food is recommended for dogs with Adverse food reactions (food allergy and/or food intolerance) resulting in dermatological and gastrointestinal disorders. Food elimination trial. Gastrointestinal problems include diarrhoea, vomiting and flatulence caused by malabsorption and maldigestion, EPI and acute gastroenteritis. Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).
Dechra SPECIFIC® CDD-HY Allergen Management Dry Dog Food contains hydrolysed salmon protein with high digestibility and low allergenicity. Rice has a low allergenicity and a high digestibility, which makes it a perfect ingredient in hypoallergenic diets. Rice does not contain gluten and will thus be tolerated by dogs with gluten allergy/intolerance.
High-quality and highly digestible ingredients make the diet especially useful for patients with small intestinal diarrhoea. Psyllium Husk is a gel-forming soluble fibre, which absorbs several times its weight in liquid and is known for its beneficial effect on the regulation of the gastrointestinal tract activity.
Vitamin and mineral support Increased levels of vitamin A, E and B complex, zinc and selenium for support of healthy skin and coat and increased levels of vitamins, minerals and electrolytes for support of dogs with gastrointestinal problems. A complete balanced diet with recommended nutrient levels to meet the nutrient requirements of growing and adult dogs. This diet is, therefore, also suitable for puppies.
