Details

Cardalis 10mg/80mg for dogs is used to treat congestive heart failure when it has been caused by chronic degenerative valvular disease.

Each brown, oblong Cardalis tablet contains a fixed combination of 10mg Benazepril Hydrochloride and 80mg Spironolactone. Cardalis is used to treat animals that require both active substances to be administered concomitantly at this fixed dose.

Cardalis 10mg/80mg tablets should be given with food, either a small amount just before your dog has had their main meal or can be given with the meal. Each Cardalis 10mg/80mg tablet is scored to enable you to divide the tablets if necessary.

Cardalis 10mg/80mg tablets are often also used in conjunction with other medications, such as Vetmedin and Frusemide.

Cardalis is also available as 2.5mg/20mg and 5mg/40mg doses to accommodate different sizes and breeds of dog.

Non-Prescription supplements can also be beneficial to animals with cardiovascular health and inflammatory disease. Products such as Gomega Liquid are often recommended.

"A big saving compared with the vets.."

"In my dealings with Pet Prescription I have never experienced any difficulties whatsoever and delivery has always been on or ahead of promised date.

Pricing is competitive and savings on prescription drugs are really good.

The only downside is the ever increasing prescription charges being made by the veterinary practises which all to frequently limit the savings made. In my own experience charges have increased per item from £7 t0 £12 over a period of eighteen months."
