Panacur Rabbit is a tasty paste that has been designed to control intestinal worms and Encephalitozoon Cuniculi (a single celled parasite) in domestic rabbits.
Panacur Rabbit’s active ingredient is Fenbendazole, which makes up 18.75% of each 5g syringe. Fenbendazole actively expels/kills Encephalitozoon Cuniculi which can cause symptoms including cataracts, hind limb paralysis, head tilt, urinary incontinence and can even result in death. Fenbendazole also rids the system of intestinal parasites.
Panacur Rabbit is flavoured to enhance the palatability of the paste and to help make administration easier. The best of administering is to squeeze the paste directly into the side of the mouth from the syringe.
Special Instructions
Dosage Instructions: Give 1 syringe graduation per 2.5 kg bodyweight once daily for 9 consecutive days.
The recommended frequency of dosing for rabbits is 2-4 times yearly. Dosing should also be considered during high risk periods (e.g. when the rabbit is acquired, before it is due to mate & when it is mixing with other rabbits).
