For the treatment / control of epilepsy in dogs. Epiphen is a Schedule 3 Controlled Drug under the Misuse of Drugs Regulations 2001. Prescriptions for Epiphen must fulfil all these regulations. These prescriptions may not be repeated and must be dispensed no later than 28 days from the date on the script. Prescriptions for Epiphen must be written by UK registered vets only.
Special Instructions
To be given orally twice daily. The full effect of the medication may not be apparent for 2 weeks. Some patients may seem drowsy initially. This drug can cause liver damage long term. Do not divide the tablets. PLEASE NOTE THAT REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS OF THIS DRUG ARE NOT PERMITTED. WRITTEN PRESCRIPTIONS MUST BE FILLED WITHIN 28 DAYS OF THE DATE SHOWN ON THE PRESCRIPTION. THIS DRUG MUST BE SENT BY RECORDED DELIVERY.
