Product Information

Bimectin is indicated for the treatment of parasitic infestations in horses due to; large strongyles, small strongyles, lungworms, pinworms, ascarids, hairworms, large-mouth stomach worms, neck threadworms, intestinal threadworms and stomach bots.

Special Instructions

Bimectin should be given as a single dose, and each syringe will provide a complete dose for horses weighing up to 600kg. Prior to treetment, an accurate bodyweight should be determined to ensure the correct dose is given.

Bimectin is safe for use within horse, mares, ponies and foals. The product can be safely used within pregnant mares at any stage of the pregnancy and fertility of treated stallions is not affected.

The product has been formulated specifically for use in horses only. Dogs and cats may be adversely affected by the concentration of ivermectin in this product if they are allowed to ingest spilled paste or have access to used syringes.

Miscellaneous Instructions

Dogs and cats may be adversely affected if they are allowed to ingest spilled paste. Do not eat, drink or smoke while handling the product. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. If accidental skin contact occurs, wash the affected area immediately with soap and water. If accidental eye exposure occurs, flush the eyes immediately with water and, if necessary, get medical attention. Wash hands after use. Bimectin is extremely dangerous to fish and aquatic life.Do not contaminate surface waters or ditches with product or used containers.
