Metacam Oral Suspension is a non steroidal anti-inflammatory drug for dogs. It is used as an anti-inflammatory for problems like arthritis in dogs. It is also used for pain relief, most commonly for post operative pain. Furthermore, it's uses are recognised in the alleviation of inflammation and pain in both acute and chronic musculo-skeletal disorders.

Special Instructions

Do not use on pregnant or lactating bitches. Do not use in dogs less than 6 weeks old. Do not use in dogs sufferring from gastrointestinal disorders, impaired renal, cardiac or liver function. If vomiting or diarrhoea occurs during treatment then consult your vet. Ensure you have weighed your dog accurately, especially if small, to ensure accurate dosing. Arthritic dogs benefit from joint supplements such as cosequin, synoquin, seraquin or Hills J/d diet.
