Frontline Spot On for dogs is a product designed to treat flea, biting lice and tick infestations. Frontline Spot On for dogs also prevents any future infestations from occurring. The active ingredient in Frontline Spot On for dogs is Fipronil, which kills 98-100% of fleas in 24 hours and controls biting lice and ticks in 48 hours. It also prevents further tick infestions for up to four weeks and flea infestations for up to two months.
Frontline Spot On kills fleas and ticks and controls biting lice on contact, not via your pet’s blood.
Frontline Spot On dogs comes in different sizes depending on the weight of your dog.
Frontline Spot On Small Dog is for dogs that weigh between 2kg and 10kg.
Each Frontline Spot On Small Dog pipette contains 0.67ml of Fipronil.
Frontline Spot On Medium Dog is for dogs weighing between 10kg and 20kg.
Each Frontline Spot On Medium Dog contains 1.34ml of Fipronil.
Frontline Spot On Large Dog is for dogs weighing between 20kg and 40kg.
Each Frontline Spot On Large Dog pipette contains 2.68ml of Fipronil.
Frontline Spot On Extra Large is for dogs weighing between 40kg and 60kg.
Each Frontline Spot On Extra Large Dog pipette contains 4.02ml of Fipronil.
If your dog is marginally over the maximum weight of one of the pack sizes (e.g. 10.5kg ) it is recommended that you purchase the larger size (Medium dog instead of Small dog) to ensure your animal is fully protected.
One pipette of Frontline should be applied every four weeks.
Frontline should be applied by parting the fur on the back of the neck and squeezing the contents of one pipette directly to the skin.
